Somatik is sub label of Lethal Dose Recordings. Somatik Sounds Group is based in Saint Petersburg (Russia), also working on ukrainian territory – Kyiv city. Perforated Cerebral Party & Hertzman are founders of this Somatik Techno Group. We are family label, but we also prefer new quality artists on our board.
Somatik Techno is – in other words – Biomechano. The first tracks of this sort were recorded as cover – versions, tributes to John Balance of “Coil” (2004) & Klaus Nomi (2006). The idea was to make dark, slow techno, resembling a funeral march. These two so-called requiems became the base on which Somatik Techno flourished some time later, after both it’s founders nearly died: one from a heart attack, a result of many years of Rave-lifestyle, the other spent a week in coma, Oding on tranquilizers after a bad trip. So Vovapcp & Tsaritsa Logiki had to slow down and their music slowed down with them. Pretty soon more artists found the heavy, “rusty” groove, dark melodics & rasping bass-line’s of Somatik Techno appealing and this style originated in S-Petersburg, gained followers in Ukraine, Belarus, Finland, Ireland and across Russian Federation.

Soon starts editing of an exclusive material from the best artists of Lethal Dose Recordings label on vinyl. For that it’s not necessary to be famous, it’s enough to compose good music. We choose the author and the material which will be issued. Tracks that were edited before as net release may be found in the list of compilation on vinyl. Each artist whose material is edited separately will be informed beforehand to specify any additional information.

LDRL 01
The Pepone EP is the first vinyl release of MAZEL SOURCE.
All 3 tracks represent his inner state of techno, house, dark, bumpin, with experiments of the atmospheres. He plays with big basses and create the groove using modern and bouncin rythms.
Pepone – keeps unusual feelings with a sort of new soup. No big break, but the second powerful part makes your skin filled gooseflesh.
Pinuts – is the dark sound of this EP, respecting Lethal Doses traditions. Minimalism on the rythmic structure, and fat work with ambient and psychedelia sounds on the second part.
Des Barriques – gives a bass like Flat Beat (Mr Oizo) in his best years.
It is a dancin EP, for black and wet dancefloors, for a large public between Minus fans or Soma, Marble, Frucht, and Sleaze ones, preparing to a long collaboration with LETHAL DOSE RECORDINGS.

LETHAL DOSE delivers four songs on this EP all different from each other, but all aiming on the floor. EIHT gives us an original more striped down version with a huge bass and very hypnotic, metallic sounds. FELIX LORUSSO gives us a remix quite out of joint with a lightning percussion and DAEGON, true to himself shows us once again what techno is about. Energy! And finally close to the original version, KAMIKA shows us that imagination has no limit.

Special feature of our label is the artwork concept which corresponds to creative motives of music and key style. Every quarter (the next 3 months throughout a year), we create small story which will bear behind itself style and motive of separate elements, characterize each release, but at the same time be a part of this story.
In our deal the design of a cover is an integral part of all process of activity of a musical label. Character of tracks and the name of musical compilation should be displayed and give a certain representation on a cover of this collection.
We use separate elements of prints or drawings of designers from all over the world, but we don’t break their copyright. If work of the author isn’t in free use, we notify him on reception of the license for the application right in our deal.
To all designers we take the first step by publishing their works in the musical industry, and also on sites where it is possible to familiarize and buy music from our label. Moreover, we don’t forget to give to your attention their names on our site. It means that we are respectful to each of them and we inform that they are a part of our musical label. We perfectly know what the copyright is and we don’t want to break any step of this position.
For the publication of works of designers we use a logo of our trade mark and we connect issuing of a musical material to decorating of each release.
We want to remind that if you are a designer and think that your creative work can be a part of the activity of musical label Lethal Dose Recordings, please contact us! (You will find all necessary data in section Contact).
We are glad to inform that any interested person can receive any cover from our catalogue of releases via e-mail, in any size (regardless of the size, we keep proportions of the square form).
Now everyone can create a T-shirt, a lighter, a sticker and any other thing which will remind of us! Send photos of the image things, best of them will be published on our site! We will be grateful to you for it.

With the development of digital technologies possibility of work with virtual plug-ins (VST) has raised, various processing of samples, voices becomes more accessible than ever.
Today not every artist has good equipment on which it is possible to hear interference or distortions, wrong sound equalization and many other nuances which will obviously be shown on such event as show, party etc. There the capacity of the sound equipment is much higher and its adjustment is more exact, without any decoration of the signal.
The equipment which is used in portable studios, and acoustic conditions in which producers work, isn’t absolutely ideal. It creates certain errors in a sound which are impossible to control completely.
Every self-respecting musical label should carry out mastering works. And we do it! Mastering possibility is given to any artist who will edit release on Lethal Dose Recordings, anyhow, it occurs under our initiative automatically. We create the control version of sound of your track and the most interesting is that this option is free of charge.
We will try to give you the best sound.
After the approval of your demo in mp3 format, for performing works from your side it is required:
Wav quality for every track of release:
24 bit 44100 Hz;
Master Channel without compressor, limiter, maximazer and etc (without dynamic sound processing). Line Out -2/-3 db.
After the termination of works, one week prior to date of issue your release, the archive with tracks will be directed you.

Lethal Dose Recordings is founded in March, 2011. This label is concentrated on the release of dark music, and more precisely such styles as Minimal, Techno, Experimental with psychodelical elements and etc.
New "modern pop trends" do not care us! For us new artists are always actual, we do not accent attention on the certain circle of persons which got in our list before. New faces are welcome.
